Supervision for Therapists and Counselors
I have an international supervision and consultancy working with therapists, counselors and other healing practitioners in person and over Zoom.
I provide support and development for counselors and therapists. Group and individual sessions are available to practitioners in healing approaches who wish to reflect on the issues that arise in their practices. These sessions are based on the following principles:
As practitioners we are always learning
Personal awareness and reflection are vital aspects of the therapeutic process
Supervision is distinct from personal therapy as an expression of our ability as practitioners to separate our personal issues from those of our clients
Supervision with me is flexible and responsive to the needs of the therapist and the therapist’s clients. As the supervisee grows and develops through gaining experience and insight, so the mode of supervision changes.

Appointments
If you are interested in supervision, please read the information below, and contact me to arrange a free interview to speak about your needs as a practitioner and what frequency of supervision you require.
Getting the most out of your session
Before your session, please spend 10–15 minutes in mental, emotional and physical preparation, focusing on current issues, tuning into your feelings, practicing conscious breathing or physical exercises, relaxing, or simply catching up with yourself in order to be present and engaged for your session.
After your session and supporting your process
Please allow 10–15 minutes after your session to record key themes and insights. I encourage you to keep a notebook for your work with me in supervision.
Emergency or Extra Sessions
Emergency and extra sessions are available when you work with me in regular ongoing therapy. Please phone and I will see you as soon as I can.
Holidays and breaks
Please give me as much notice as possible of holidays and breaks from ongoing therapy
Cancellations
A 2-week notice is required for cancellations. Sessions cancelled after this notice will be charged at the regular fee. This applies even if you are incapacitated though illness, accident, or any other unexpected event.
Ending ongoing therapy
Ending ongoing supervision usually requires at least one session in which we consider the content and process of our work together. Dealing with the ending considerately and responsibly allows us to make an assessment of your strengths and weaknesses as a practitioner, make recommendations for your future development, identify problem areas and acknowledge what we have achieved together through constructive appraisal.
